Computational Sciences Journal Club

What is the Computational Sciences Journal Club?
Informal discussions that alternate between research projects and computational methods / articles. The goal of the Computational Sciences Journal Club (CSJC) is to provide those using computational methods an open forum to discuss current computational science interests.

When and where does the CSJC meet?
The CSJC is biweekly, meeting on alternating To Be Determined (building XX on the campus map). See the schedule for dates, discussion leaders, and topics.

Who should attend?
Any one interested in computational science methodologies and research are encouraged to attend. Currently, members of the Physics, Chemistry and Molecular Biology, Computer Science, and Civil Engineering departments attend the weekly meetings.

What is discussed?
Current research, journal articles, and computational methods. The discussions are wide scoping and include: fluid dynamics, quantum mechanics, bioinformatics, computational biology, and computer-aided molecular design.

Uniting diverse disciplines through a common thread.

The CSJC is organized by Emilio Xavier Esposito in the Department of Chemistry of Molecular Biology. Those interested in joining the CSJC mailing list please email Emilio.
